In September of 2000, Frank Bernarducci and Louis K. Meisel opened Bernarducci.Meisel.Gallery on the 6th floor of 37 West 57th Street, between 5th and 6th Avenues in New York. The focus is the presentation of the finest contemporary realist art including established and emerging artists of the genre.
On September 30, 2010, we opened our new 6,000 square foot Gallery, located on the third floor at our current 57th street address. This larger exhibition space will give us an opportunity to present more comprehensive exhibitions in the years to come. Our goal is to provide the foremost opportunity for the world's leading realist painters.
Since the Gallery's inception, our artists have been exhibiting both nationally and internationally and their paintings have been included in museum surveys and featured in solo museum exhibitions. In addition, the Gallery continues to present important historical shows such as early works on paper by Chuck Close, classic paintings by Richard Estes, Ralph Goings, Robert Bechtle, Richard McLean and Mel Ramos.
