The Gallery Barbara von Stechow, situated in the Westend of Frankfurt, was found in 1995. The gallery specializes in contemporary paintings and sculptures and organizes about ten exhibitions per year.

The focal point of the gallery is to promote young artists, especially graduates of the Frankfurt academy (Städelschule), such as Justine Otto, Chunqing Huang, or Cristina Herradas Martín. Barbara von Stechow is a member of various juries.
Mediating works of important American artists, such as Joe Stefanelli, Tom Christopher, Robyn Whitney Fairclough, and David FeBland forms a fundamental part of the gallery’s work.
