Russell Collection Fine Art has assembled a permanent collection that includes approximately 100 original works spanning the history of art from 1600 to the present, making it the premier visual arts gallery in central Texas. Located in the heart of one of the most unique and diverse cities in the world, the gallery uses its collection and resources to provide educational and cultural experiences for the people who live in, work in, and visit Austin. Russell Collection Fine Art offers an outstanding schedule of special exhibitions and lectures for patrons. Our current collection includes the artwork by the Masters such as Rembrandt, Mary Cassatt, Marc Chagall, Toulouse-Lautrec, Manet, Picasso, Renoir, Matisse, Pissarro, the artists of the French Barbizon school. They bring together original oils, pastels, lithographs, etchings, aquatints, pencil and ink, woodcuts and mezzotints to name a few. The gallery is also committed to infusing our permanent holdings with fresh offerings of contemporary artists such as Royo, Frederick Hart, Ray Donley, Maxine Price, Vicki McMurry, Rodolfo Buonocore, Oscar Riquelme, Jill Pankey, Kathryn Watts-Martinez, Michael Kessler, Michael Klung, and Brian Hamill.
