Since it’s establishment in 2010 LGTripp Gallery has focused on a diverse investigation of contemporary abstraction. Owner Luella G. Tripp opened her first gallery in 2001. Now in a 2000 sq ft space and premier location the gallery has expanded its scope and vision.
With a primary focus on dynamic two-dimensional painting, the gallery also exhibits sculpture, photography and installation. The artists represented and exhibited, largely from the Philadelphia and New York region, range from established to emerging artists that have exhibited nationally and internationally.
Located in the Philadelphia arts district of historic Old City, the gallery presents ten exhibitions a year, collaborates with multiple institutions and is looking to expand nationally into the art fair environment.
