The Michal and Renata Hornstein Pavilion for Peace – International Art and Education will be inaugurated in November 2016 to kick off the celebrations for the city’s 375th anniversary. The new pavilion will highlight the architectural quality of Montreal, a UNESCO City of Design. This fifth pavilion will showcase the MMFA’s collection of international art, from Old Masters to modern art, which has been considerably enriched thanks to the Hornstein family’s major donation of works of art. It will also include new facilities for the Michel de la Chenelière International Atelier for Education and Art Therapy.
