Established in 1980, Conner-Rosenkranz, LLC is a private gallery located on the Upper East Side of Manhattan and is open by appointment. Janis Conner and Joel Rosenkranz are the founding partners.
The gallery's emphasis is on 19th and 20th century American sculpture, including neoclassical, Beaux-Arts, and modernist works as well as garden sculpture.
In addition to sculpture, Conner-Rosenkranz has a strong inventory of works on paper by American artists active from 1910 to 1950.
Janis Conner and Joel Rosenkranz have served as consultants on preservation and exhibition for Rockefeller Center, Inc., the Woodstock Artists Association & Museum, and the Henry Clews Foundation, LaNapoule, France. Janis is an active lecturer on American sculpture and has spoken at the Art Institute of Chicago, Metropolitan Museum of Art, National Academy Museum, and the Jane Voorhees Zimmerli Museum.
