Co-owners Eva Frosch and hp Portmann studied Art History at the University of Zurich, Switzerland.

Eva moved to New York in 2004 where she was a fellow at the Museum of Modern Art, worked for the artist Peter Halley, and, most recently, was the Gallery Director at Jack the Pelican Presents in Brooklyn.

hp lives in Zurich and is the curator of a renowned Swiss private collection; he also works at Verein für Originalgraphik (VFO), a non profit organization for graphic art.

Together they started frosch&portmann in summer 2009.
