Antonio Milla

Of Greek Cypriot descent, Antonio graduated in 2004 from theBirmingham Institute of Art and Design in 3D Furniture Design.During his studies, he began to experiment with the conceptof customisation. Although not a conscious decision, this wasto become a continuous theme throughout the three years.Having completed his studies, he set about building on the knowledge and skills he aquired and applying those skillsto designs which are both functional and show a strong senseof aesthetic maturity and awareness.
Antonio's inspiration for his designs covers a broad spectrum,from design disciplines such as architecture, graphics, andfashion, to everyday surroundings such as nature, packaging and even children's toys. Likewise, Antonio is conscious notto adhere to a specific style or movement, but designs eachpiece without constraints, specifying materials andprocesses to suit.
