Erik Magnussen, was trained as a ceramicist, graduating with a silver medal from Copenhagen School of Art and Design in 1960. He has worked for Bing & Grøndahl for a number of years, and his most recent work includes furniture for Engelbrechts, door handles for Franz Schneider Brakel Gmbh, industrial design in tin for Royal Selangor, industrial design in stainless steel and synthetic materials for Stelton, porcelain lamps for Licht & Form, as well as and furniture for Fritz Hansen among others.
