Thackeray Gallery - London - United Kingdom

Thackeray Gallery is one of London’s well established and highly recognised Galleries, and has been trading for over 44 years.    The Gallery was founded in 1968, in the premises of 18 Thackeray Street, Kensington, where we are still trading today.

In the beginning, and continuing today, the Gallery works exclusively with Living British Artists.  We represent Artists from a young age and work closely and long term with them throughout their careers. Such names as Sir Kyffin Williams RA (1918-2006), Alberto Morrocco OBE RSA RSW (1917-1998) and Joanna Carrington (1931-2003) all began their careers with us, and stayed with the Gallery throughout their lifetimes.  Currently, we represent well known names such as Ethel Walker (known as the ‘painter of skies…..’), Gordon Bryce (3rd generation Scottish Colourist), William Selwyn (the renowned Welsh Watercolourist), Michael Honnor (semi-abstract landscape painter), David Klein (an outstanding stone sculptor),  and Jennifer McRae (the highly acclaimed portrait painter) to name a few.

We work long term with clients too, people often buying their first work of art from us, and then continuing to collect for many years, and decades to follow.

Scream - London - United Kingdom

Since opening in 2006 Scream has established itself as an integral part of the London art scene.  We are now a key addition to Eastcastle Street's dynamic arts community.

Scream has created a very distinct identity, the stem of which is a broad Pop or urban aesthetic, but by no means is it limited to this.  We have established a reputation for showcasing emerging artists that produce high-impact and energetic works.  Their practices have a tendency to experiment with a variety of different media highlighting the process of production and innate skill producing innovative contemporary art.

Scream has a particular emphasis on the global nature of the current art market.  We have an extensive network of national and international collectors that have responded to the interesting group of international artists that we currently work with, for instance Thai artist Pakpoom Silaphan, Beijing-based artist Ye Hongxing and Tsai (Taiwan) & Yoshikawa (Japan).  The works have a universal appeal enabling us to reach out to a very broad audience.

Owned by Jamie Wood, son of Ronnie Wood (Rolling Stones), the gallery has very much benefitted from endorsement and support from London’s high-profile art collectors and a wide international reach.
