Since opening in 2006 Scream has established itself as an integral part of
the London art scene.  We are now a key addition to Eastcastle Street's dynamic
arts community.
Scream has created a very distinct identity, the stem of which is a broad Pop
or urban aesthetic, but by no means is it limited to this.  We have established
a reputation for showcasing emerging artists that produce high-impact and
energetic works.  Their practices have a tendency to experiment with a variety
of different media highlighting the process of production and innate skill
producing innovative contemporary art.
Scream has a particular emphasis on the global nature of the current art
market.  We have an extensive network of national and international collectors
that have responded to the interesting group of international artists that we
currently work with, for instance Thai artist Pakpoom Silaphan, Beijing-based
artist Ye Hongxing and Tsai (Taiwan) & Yoshikawa (Japan).  The works have a
universal appeal enabling us to reach out to a very broad audience.
Owned by Jamie Wood, son of Ronnie Wood (Rolling Stones), the gallery has
very much benefitted from endorsement and support from London’s high-profile art
collectors and a wide international reach.
