Zoe Binghem Fina Art - London - United Kingdom

.
Zoe Bingham Fine Art is a private gallery in the heart of London’s Bloomsbury, that provides expert advice and bespoke services for purchasing, presenting, preserving, selling, and sourcing fine art photography.

Zoe Bingham works in London and the South West, and is available for meetings by appointment in London, Bristol, Bath and Exeter.

Zoe Bingham Fine Art was founded to provide a friendly yet discreet service to anyone interested in fine art photography. With over fourteen years of industry experience, Zoe Bingham’s expert knowledge of Fine Art Photography and its evolving market, developed from working in private and public photography galleries and as Head of the Photography Department at an auction house.

Zoe began working as Gallery Manager for Atlas Gallery in 2001, organizing eight selling exhibitions of photography a year, representing the gallery at Photo London and Paris Photo Art Fairs and curating off-site exhibitions around the world.

With a wealth of sales and curatorial experience, she then moved to The Photographers’ Gallery in 2005, where she represented over 90 established and contemporary photographers and archives for the Print Sales department. She found promising emerging photographers for the gallery, and tutored their development from graduation through to their first publications, exhibitions and representation at international art fairs, many of whom have gone on to successful international careers.

Having initiated regular Collector’s Seminars for the gallery, Zoe attended Rhubarb-Rhubarb International Festival of the Image as a Portfolio Reviewer in 2006 and 2007 and delivered lectures about the Photography Market to Sotheby's Institute of Art and ArtInsight’s Collector’s Events. In 2007, she also trained in photographic conservation with specialists from Tate.

In 2008 Zoe was invited to set up a new Department of Photographs for Bloomsbury Auctions, where she expanded her expertise from 20th century and contemporary photography to include 19th century processes.

Zoe organised four auctions and one charity event at the auction house, and developed a wealth of experience in both the primary and secondary photography markets. Zoe built a reputation as a friendly and honest dealer and recognised the need for a discreet environment for collectors in which specialist advice on purchasing photography could be provided.

As a result, she founded Zoe Bingham Fine Art in January 2010 for purchasing, sourcing, collecting, presenting, and conserving fine art photography.
